General tip for Windows XP, Vista and Windows 7
This tip could speed up the buffering and loading of all p2p software. It seems like that in the latest Vista SP2 and Windows 7 it’s not needed to run one of the patches. Those seem to have no limits anymore.
But if you’re running XP, or feel you need to speed it up a bit, then one of the following tools could be helpfull.
General for all Windows: A general tip, for all XP, Vista and Windows 7 users can be found on half-open.com or softpedia.com.
Windows Vista only: A few tools to try for Vista are the following Link 1 or Link 2. Another tool to try if one of the first two doesn't work is the other patch by Softpedia, see also their Info page.
Windows XP only: Download and follow the instructions of lvllord or betterSP2.
